What needs to happen

1.The current board of Directors of the Northwest Communities Education Center ("NCEC", owner of KDNA-FM) must be replaced with representatives of the community served by KDNA that are truly committed to upholding the mission of the organization.

2. The current Executive Director of the NCEC must be replaced with someone that is truly committed to the purpose and mission of the organization, and that can demonstrate that they have actual experience in managing, fund raising, and staff development, and that they are demonstrably of integrity and honor.

3. The staff terminated by Executive Director should be reinstated.

4. The striking staff should be allowed to resume their jobs without retribution or retaliation.

5. All actions taken by the current Executive Director during the period of her employment and by the current Board of Directors during the period subsequent to June 30, 2008 should be investigated, disclosed, and evaluated. This should include a complete financial and compliance audit by a firm independent of current NCEC/KDNA management influence. Where deemed appropriate, the new Board of Directors should take corrective action to rectify and resolve inappropriate behavior that has damaged the reputation of NCEC/KDNA, and put it in jeopardy of insolvency.
